Project Implementation Plan
A) Coffee Nurseries
B) Banana Mother Gardens
C) Training
· 40 youths will be trained and participate in setting up the model nurseries at one sub-county training center.
Economic benefits of the Project
Thus when one adds up all the activities above that can be done on a piece of
land and monetizes all food and vegetables that are grown and consumed on one
acre of land a conservative figure of shillings 6,000,000 can be reached.
The project will itself assist the families' plant and manage a minimum of ¼
an acre. This means each family could realize a minimum of 1,500,000 shillings
yearly when the project is fully running. This is five times more than the current
per capita income of an Ugandan family of about 300,000 shillings a year.
