Children's Rehabilitation Center
During the winter break university student volunteers participated in the
third stage of the project to build the second story on the children's rehabilitation
center.
May through September, Tver
Volunteers refurbished the playgrounds in 9 Children's Homes. In August volunteers
remodeled and repaired the interior and landscaped the grounds of the Tver
City Children's Rehabilitation Center.
August-September,
Autonomous Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa City
Children's Rehabilitation Center
This was the fourth stage of the project with the children's rehabilitation
center. Volunteers gathered to finish constructing the roof before the rains
in the fall and the winter snow damaged the building's foundation and interiors.
Soon afterwards the administration opened the doors of the center to disabled
children.
August,
Ural Region, Ekatherinburg
22 volunteers from 7 cities in the Ural region gathered to build an outdoor
sports facility and renovate the interiors of the building housing a rehabilitation
program for young juvenile offenders and runaways.
November, St. Petersburg 
Service Learning Project in School Curriculum
Project organizers initiated a service learning project in the curriculum
of the private school, "Sterkh." Organizers acquired the necessary materials
and pupils activity participated in all phases of the planning and implementation
of the project.
